The forearm trainer is a roller device for the targeted strengthening of the forearm and wrist muscles. By controlled rolling up and down of a weight via a rope, the forearm muscles are evenly and isolatedly stressed through a long range of motion – a form of training that is hardly completely covered by classic compound exercises like deadlifts or pull-ups. The device is suitable for use at home as well as for regular use in a sports club or fitness studio.
Isolated forearm training without compressive load on the hands
The operating principle of the forearm trainer is based on a simple yet biomechanically effective rolling motion: the wrists alternately perform flexion and extension movements while the attached weight is raised and controllably lowered via the rope. Unlike improvised solutions such as a broomstick with a rope, this forearm trainer features a padded grip that significantly reduces pressure on the palms as weight increases and ensures a secure, stable hold. The durable rope is attached via a metal ring and designed to withstand the stresses of regular strength training. The compact design allows for use in any standard storage location and requires no fixed frame or specific mounting device.
