The Hammerbar 50 mm is a specialized dumbbell bar for isolated arm training with free weights. Its characteristic parallel grip position the hands in a neutral, hammer grip-type position, which is significantly less biomechanically stressful on the hand and elbow joints than the supination or pronation grip of a straight bar. Its intended use is for targeted biceps and triceps training, both in the home environment and in professional studio settings.<\/p>\n
The base body made of sturdy steel weighs 12.5 kg and is designed for training weights up to 250 kg, making the bar permanently usable in heavy weight training. The 50 mm mounting plate conforms to the Olympic standard and ensures compatibility with the common disc format. The neutral wrist position of the parallel grip enables more direct muscle activation of the biceps and triceps, as distracting compensatory movements in the forearm are reduced. The chrome-plated surface, visible on the polished steel construction, protects the material from corrosion and facilitates cleaning during operation.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
