The Shogun Nord-Ex is a compact design that combines two demanding exercises for the posterior chain into a single station: the Nordic curl and the back extension. The device is equally aimed at ambitious home athletes who want to efficiently utilize their available space, as well as high-performance athletes who want to purposefully integrate back extensions, glutes, and hamstrings into their daily training routine.

The core of the Nord-Ex is a patented system that specifically enables eccentric training, thereby methodically supporting the development of the hamstrings. Since Nordic Curls are among the most biomechanically demanding bodyweight exercises, the device's step-by-step adjustability is a key functional aspect: the resistance can be adapted to the individual strength level, allowing for controlled and continuous strength development. The solid steel frame construction, as well as the padded rollers and the large knee support—as clearly visible in the product images—convey a robust build quality that withstands continuous use. By combining both functions in a single, floor-standing unit, the need for multiple separate stations is eliminated—a practical advantage for any training space with limited floor area.
