The Soft Drop Blocks are specially designed throw mats for use in weightlifting and functional strength training. They are used to safely throw heavy dumbbells after completing an exercise, and are equally suitable for use in private home gyms as in commercially-owned training facilities. It should be noted that the blocks are exclusively designed for dumbbell weights made of rubber or urethane.

The foam padding of the blocks absorbs the impact energy of heavy dumbbells reliably, significantly reducing both sound emission and the rebound. This behavior reduces the risk that rebounding dumbbells will slip uncontrollably or endanger people, while protecting the ground from permanent damage. With dimensions of 100 cm × 60 cm × 15 cm, the blocks provide a generous impact area that also allows for sufficient clearance when thrown from the side. Each block is designed to withstand a load of up to 120 kg, thus meeting the requirements that arise in competitive and performance sports. The robust cover material in the image corresponds to daily use and the integrated carrying handles facilitate repositioning the blocks between sets.
