At the heart of the platform is the integrated shock absorption system with a cushioning height of 50 mm, which effectively absorbs impact forces when dumbbells or barbells are set down or dropped, thereby protecting the underlying floor from structural damage. The central standing surface made of multiplex wood features a non-slip coating that ensures a stable stance under maximum load and reduces the risk of injury from accidental slipping. Flanking this standing surface on both sides are solid rubber drop plates with a hollow-chamber structure, which are specifically designed to absorb the kinetic energy of dropped weights and minimize wear and tear from repeated impacts. The surrounding steel frame gives the entire construction the necessary dimensional stability and permanently holds all components in position.
