Hex Trap Bar 50 mm

The Hex Trap Bar 50 mm is a hexagonal barbell where the athlete stands inside the frame during the movement. This geometric feature shifts the center of gravity of the load significantly closer to the body's midline compared to a conventional barbell, which fundamentally changes the biomechanics of the deadlift. The bar is equally suited for the ambitious home athlete as well as for use in professional strength and conditioning.

Neutral grip position and high load capacity for back-friendly deadlifts

The side-mounted parallel handles place the wrists and shoulders in a neutral, anatomically favorable position, which reduces the strain on these joints during heavy lifts. At the same time, the centralized load distribution enables a more upright torso position, meaning the lumbar spine is less involved in the lever arm than in traditional barbell deadlifts. The bar is made of chrome-plated steel, weighs 25 kg, and has a total length of 185 cm. The weight sleeves, with a diameter of 50 mm and a usable length of 25 cm, accommodate standard Olympic weight plates; the maximum load capacity is 500 kg.
