ATX Adapter 50 x 365 mm

The ATX Adapter 50 mm × 365 mm allows the use of weight plates with a 50 mm bore on existing barbells with a 30 mm sleeve diameter. It is slid over the existing bar and expands its plate sleeve to the currently standard 50 mm size without the barbell itself needing to be replaced. The adapter is suitable for use in the home gym as well as in commercial training environments where older 30 mm bars are to continue to be used.

Compatibility of existing equipment without procuring a new barbell

The adapter is made of hard plastic and has a total length of 365 mm. It fits pole mounts with a diameter of 30 mm and a length between 280 and 360 mm. An integrated Allen set screw ensures a secure, play-free fit on the pole, reliably preventing the adapter from shifting unintentionally during operation. Thus, the adapter bridges the common incompatibility between older 30 mm poles and the widespread 50 mm plate standard, thereby protecting the investment in existing equipment.
